I had a phone interview scheduled. The manager was several minutes late, so I called the front desk and they apologized, and told me she would call me shortly. About 15-20 minutes of waiting, the manager called back and we had a brief conversation about my skills and the position. She wanted me to come in for an in person interview the following week. It was a panel interview of three. It seemed to go well, but they wanted me to do an unpaid marketing project (word to the wise, don’t do any unpaid work for an interview, show them your previous work or bill them a statement for the work they want you to do). I put my heart and soul into the project, and turned it in before the deadline. She told me she would get back to me in a few days. I ended up not receiving the position.
