One 30-minute coffee chat where the purpose is to help the candidate gain more information about the company.
One 30-minute interview.
I'm sure there are additional steps, but I don't know how many since I didn't get past the first interview.
Very poor experience. My interviewer (not for the coffee chat) arrived 15 minutes late to a 30-minute interview and conducted the zoom meeting with no video since she was driving. Asked one very simple question (see below) with no behaviorals or technical questions. Gave me an opportunity to ask questions as well. A couple days later the recruiter emailed me saying they were moving forward with other candidates. I asked for some feedback since I didn't understand what I could have done wrong in my 15 minutes with the interviewer to be removed from the process, but I didn't get a response.
Not really sure what the company is looking for. A classmate of mine had something similar happen to her
- the company appears to make arbitrary decisions throughout the hiring process. Would have preferred if they told me immediately they weren't interested, so I wouldn't have wasted so much time preparing for an interview that had no bearing on the hiring decision.
