I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Anduril
Interview
Contract position. 1 call, 1 zoom call. 30 minutes each.
First call was with the manager. He was late for the call and asked me questions about my background and what I was looking for. Didn't leave any time for me to ask questions. Pushed me along to second interview with a recruiter on his team.
Second interviewer was also late and unprepared. She clearly did not look at my resume and asked super basic questions. Felt more like a personality screening rather than a skills assessment. Odd vibe all around. Received a generic rejection email the next week.
Sounds like they're over worked and undervalue candidate experience which is negatively impacting the company brand. Churn and burn.

Question 1
Tell me about your last role, what did you do there?
Had 5 total interviews
1- Phone with Hiring Manager
4- Virtual On Site (one of the interviews was with the hiring manager again)
It was a very strange interview. Met with four Leaders including the same manager from the first call. Two of the interviewers decided to hold a "casual" conversation which led me to two thoughts. 1. I'm a solid prospect or 2. They don't want to waste their time. There's no middle ground in these situations.
