Usual process. Recruiter call and then moved to next stage to speak with hiring manager. The interview was easy enough. It appears that the decisions are made by personnel and how they assume you will fit with the current team, but who knows what kind of assumptions are being made on their end. I spoke with someone that supposedly went to the Naval Academy yet didn't serve any time in the fleet post graduation, which is an anomaly or a lie. I served in the USMC and spent time around many officers from the academy, and I never heard of anybody attending Annapolis and then going directly into the private sector like it was some kind of basic university. It also appears skills are not properly evaluated. I have two technical degrees from the best public uni in the world and not a single question regarding ability or the like was explored.
