Question 1

I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Angel Trains (London, England) in July 2023
Interview
First apply by sending in CV then if successful get an online interview over teams asking about experience and a few competency questions then if successful with this a face to face interview asking more technical questions but also a couple of competency questions such as why the company and specific role? and a couple of scenario questions
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Angel Trains (London, England) in Nov 2014
Interview
First contact was through a recruitment agency, followed up with an interview at their offices in London. I was interviewed by 3 engineers and a HR executive lasting for over an hour in which basic competencies, technical knowledge and industry knowledge were all tested.
My advice would be make sure you know the basics of how trains are operated in the UK, make sure you can answer your standard competency questions confidently and do plenty of research on the company as they seemed impressed with my knowledge in this area.
