I was contacted by the Director of HR after responding to a job posting. We set up a phone interview. it was a 1 hour call where the HR Director asked me questions for 45 minutes and I asked questions for the last 15 minutes. The questions asked were very general, such as "tell me about yourself," give me an example of a success, give me an example of a project gone wrong and how you recovered from it." Nothing too in-depth. Would not give salary range information. The HR Director was very pleasant and friendly. Everything was kept on a positive footing, especially comments about the company, team and position.
