Anonymous Content Speech Language Pathologist- CF interview questions

I got a job offer and was supposed to get a call the next day, but another person from the company called me and casually mentioned the person I had my scheduled call with was not there. The call was scheduled to talk about salary, but this other person didn't seem to know that. When I told her that I had a call scheduled to talk about salary, she said "I have a number in front of me" and then proceeded to talk about unrelated things. She never got to the salary, and I was left hanging. The person who was absent hasn't written me an email or called me back. I wrote an email and didn't get a reply back yet. It's only been two days, but this is very strange.
