Be careful about their positive reviews. They posted a job on a well-known site with a clear salary range. After one coding challenge and five calls (three of them technical interviews), they offered me a salary well below the advertised minimum.
They wasted my time and energy only to lowball me at the end of the process.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Anoto (Lund, Skåne) in Aug 2016
Interview
One face to face Skype interview with a Swedish recruiter.
One face to face interview at Basingstoke offices including a Skype video call.
One face to face interview with Swedish Managers.
Received a verbal message that they were very pleased and would offer soon. After lots of telephone calls and emails to the recruiter the offer was never confirmed in writing as the job was pulled.
It seemed that the job was never really agreed within the business up front and would not exist in the Basingstoke office. They should have been clear at the beginning if there was a chance the role would not exist. I incurred extra childcare costs out of my own pocket as I was making arrangements to start work there.
All together a very negative experience from what seemed like a forward thinking and pleasant company which in the end left me feeling bitter about the whole process.
What a stupid waste of my time and of the recruiters involved. I firmly lay my anger with Anoto and the management there.
