I applied through university. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Answer Carolina (Columbia, SC) in Sept 2013
Interview
I had to take a typing test and a spelling test, since the job was heavy reliant upon those skills. After that, I talked to the manager one-on-one. He asked me about strengths and weaknesses, customer service, etc. At the end, he also gave me a review of how I presented myself and pointers for future interviews (portfolio instead of basic folder for resume).
I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Answer Carolina (Columbia, SC) in Aug 2015
Interview
Came into the house and did a typing test, grammar test, and spelling test. Owner then spent over an hour telling me about her life and finally at the end asking me if I believed I could do the job. She then took me to a station and we watched an operator answer calls for about five minutes. I was hired on the spot and sent home with a packet of information about the company and the job I would be doing, and told to come back the next day for unpaid training.
