I applied online. I interviewed at AnswerLab in Apr 2021
Interview
I applied online and was contacted to do a screening interview. After that I was asked to do a written assessment and submit it to be considered for next steps. I was turned down after submitting the assessment. I feel it's really imposing upon a candidate's good will to ask them to take their own personal time to do projects and written assessments, only to turn them down before you actually speak to them and a get a feel for their skills.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at AnswerLab in Jan 2022
Interview
I was initially contacted by the Director of DEI to take part in a brief telephone interview with someone from HR. However, once the interview was confirmed, it was scheduled with someone from the Research team.
The interview went well and I was contacted the next day to complete a skills assessment due three days after. I spent hours on the assessment just to never receive confirmation of receipt, nor a response to an email I sent regarding the status of my application. I think it's grossly unprofessional to demand time from applicants and then proceed to ghost them after receiving the relevant applicant materials.
