I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Anzie (Montreal, QC) in Nov 2019
Interview
I came in with over 10 years of experience in the same position and a background in their field(jewelry). After a long interview that was more about detailing my duties than working to learn anything about me as a potential employee, I was told that while they loved what I brought to the table, it would be a requirement that I work as an unpaid intern for 3 months before they would consider or discuss a salary. Absolutely insulting and ridiculous.

Interview
Painful. Cold, bullying, unpleasant, and condescending. You can either try and bring out the best in a candidate...or you can badger someone while interrupting them. Get an HR department and let them do their job. Don't ask someone to interview and then give them the third degree while dissecting their references. It felt like a police interrogation. Oh, and if a candidate doesn't have the background that you seek.... DON'T CONTACT THEM AND WASTE THEIR TIME. She interrupts you constantly, I couldn't complete a sentence. I was shell-shocked by the time I left. It was such a negative experience.
