I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Aon (Calgary, AB)
Interview
Was contacted to come in for an interview. Met with potential supervisor and one other colleague. Both were very nice. It took about a month before I heard about a job offer. Then a few more weeks before start day as there is no HR on site (it’s a global company so HR is located elsewhere).
I applied online. I interviewed at Aon in July 2016
Interview
I applied for the Broking Coordinator position though their website a few weeks ago. Last week I got an email with a link for their digital interview. I had 3 days to complete it. Unfortunately I had a terrible experience using their HireVue digital interview! This software presents you with questions and gives you 2-3 minutes to answer while it is recording your response. If that is not stressful enough, there is also a clock counting down the time that you have left to answer. Honestly, I felt like an idiot sitting there, talking to myself and staring at my own face on the screen. I'm not sure that I want to work for a company that is not willing to allocate me a few minuets for a traditional phone interview and instead uses this digital interview setup.
