I applied online. I interviewed at Apex Fintech Solutions (Austin, TX)
Interview
First round of the interview process seems to be a cultural/ basic employment check before the second round which is an interview with a hiring manager. Asked if lived nearby office, go to office, etc.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Apex Fintech Solutions (Belfast, Northern Ireland) in July 2025

Design a Scalable CI/CD Pipeline for Microservices
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Apex Fintech Solutions in Oct 2022
Interview
Got through two phone screens very quickly then was invited to do an on-site interview (set for a Thursday). Several weeks before the interview, I indicated on an RSVP form that I would need lodging accommodations since I lived a couple hours away. The Friday before the interview, I was told that since I lived in-state then I wouldn't get any accommodations or reimbursements. In the same phone conversation, recruiter told me that she would have an itinerary to me by Monday. I waited until Tuesday morning with no word from her and even emailed her again in case she forgot. It's the night before the interview and I'm in the hotel that I had booked since it was already too late to cancel. I decided to back out at that point since I found the whole thing to be very unprofessional and rude. Incredibly poor experience and I'm glad I did not end up working somewhere that clearly wouldn't have respected me or my time.

Question 1
Phone screens were casual conversations going over my resume and experience - one with an HR rep and the other with a software engineer.
