I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AppNexus (London, England) in Aug 2014
Interview
I had a first 30 mins phone interview, 4 interviews in their office in London and 3 Skype interviews afterwards.
It was a waste of time. I spent 8 hours in interviews/emails to receive a final feedback that I was not in their 'culture fit'. They were not at all organised and I think the job was significantly less technical than I thought, as there were no difficult/technical questions.
I am not sure what they are looking for, but they did not seem to be realistic about their expectations at all. Plus I did not find any of the interviewers extremely special or highly intelligent people, as they kept telling me that the AppNexus employees should be. They did not even know with whom I had the previous questions, so they asked me the same questions over and over (at least 5 times), they were making huge mistakes about information on my CV (one mistook my current employer with a competitor) and I found it very, very worrying that a VP of a tech company does not know how to use Skype properly.

Question 1
I did not consider any questions to be difficult/challenging; there were some logic questions copied from Google but not particularly proving anything.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at AppNexus
Interview
Phone screening, just asked me about my interest in technology and why I'm interested in AppNexus. Then asked about your personal interests and asking what you do in your own time, it's a way to really understand you as a person.
Took 5 weeks to hear back that they are moving on with another candidate

Question 1
Explain your passion for technology, how you use it and why you think you'd fit at AppnNexus
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at AppNexus (Madrid) in Aug 2017
Interview
I was contacted by a very nice recruiter and coordinate with her the first phone interview (expectations, deep definition of the job and so on). After this one I had the second phone interview with the manager, some technical questions here sql, java and logical problems, won’t be a problem if you studied computer science.
After this we coordinate a 4 hour interview in the office, here more technical questions, some others regarding ads and some question about customer support.
My last interview was by video conference and more technical questions, logical problems and expectations about the role and future.
Was a very long interview but the entire process was fun and challenged and a very important thing to remark is that all of the people I’d been in contact with were so so kind. My experience was definitely positive.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at AppNexus in Sept 2016
Interview
The entire interview process took about 2-3 months. There was an initial phone screen by the hiring manager followed 3 rounds of onsite interview.
Throughout the process the HR was always prompt in communicating any updates regarding the interview process and answering any queries I might have. After the final round of interviews I heard back within a week with an offer.
Overall, the interview process with AppNexus was pleasant.
