I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AppNexus (London, England) in Jan 2015
Interview
Very quick turnaround on process overall, well done emails sent from all my interviewers when I got the offer which was a really nice touch, very engaged throughout the process to cover any questions I had about the business or process and were incredibly responsive on email and also very flexible on arranging the interviews at times that worked with my schedule.

Question 1
Why AppNexus? Reasons for making decisions throughout my career. Things I have learnt from.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AppNexus (New York, NY) in Jan 2019
Interview
It was a long interview process but very interesting. They gave me a tour of their whole office - I met with 3 people, each for an hour and then the second round was 2 higher level managers and I met with each of them for a few hours. I ultimately didn't get the job because they went with someone internal but it was a good process.

What kind of work would make you excited to get out of bed on Monday morning?
I applied online. I interviewed at AppNexus (New York, NY) in Aug 2017
Interview
Initial phone screen with one of their Recruiters followed by an in-person interview the following week. Scheduling of the interview was fast and efficient.
Onsite interview was approximately 3.5 hours long where I met with 6 AppNexians. Will go down as one of the best experiences I have ever had interviewing with a company. Their recruiting team was present, invested, and genuinely interested in me and my background. Asked some very probing and thought-provoking questions. I truly can't say enough good things about my experience.

Interview
Phone interview with recruiter, very basic. Seemed nervous almost like this was the first time she interviewed someone. Felt like she was reading off a script, this is fine for junior roles but I would have expected more for a peer.
She didn't even go through my background or experience, or competence to interview & find talent. Then couldn't answer my questions about where the business was going, where looking to expand, how recruiting is seen within the company.
Been weeks and haven't heard from anyone.
