I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Applied Composites (Indianapolis, IN) in Oct 2016
Interview
Their application site was enough to break you from the start. It is a duplication of everything you would find in a cover letter and resume. Huge waste of time. This company has no process that they share - keeps you in the dark. They will screen you to death with calls that are dragged out over time that could be conducted in a day or week. Regardless of how well you fit all the requirements and have more than enough experience, it apparently never matters. ACE has a staffing issue internally so they have resorted to archaic personality index testing to match keywords as a indicator to move or not. Really? Finally getting to a manager who supposedly you would work for (Interviews dragged on for a month up to this point) and yet he is incapable of picking a completely qualified candidate. They were very good at pretending to be on your side. Don't fall for it! Not once was there an objection or issue and certainly no cause for not being given an offer. After all that wasted time, they were too cheap to pay for a plane ticket apparently and offered nothing else for cause. They would rather settle for a cheaper, less experienced candidate who is in their back yard, than fill the position with a strongly qualified person. Stay away from these players everyone! They cannot be trusted to have your interest in mind.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Nothing structured and more of a "tell me about this" conversation. Never grilled or pressed to regurgitate facts.
