I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Arachnys (London, England) in Aug 2019
Interview
I applied online through their Hire with Google web app. I immediately got a response saying that they were interested in my resume and skills. They gave me a Hackerrank exercise which I immediately completed fairly easily, I did not find it too challenging. Up to that point, everything was OK.
From there on the problems started. They had me waiting for one whole week to respond to me and describe to me what the next steps in the interview process would be. While waiting the HR did not respond to my emails and simply ignored me, then they requested me to take an online technical interview with one of their developers. I did the technical interview and completely solved the given problem. He personally said to me that I did great and found my problem-solving skills very advanced. I also answered all of his technical questions, no problems there as well. Then the same thing happened all over again. I had to wait without knowing how long, since they would not give me any updates or information on where the process was heading. The waiting kept going for another two whole weeks. The HR again would not answer my emails, asking them for a simple update on how the interview was proceeding. A week later they requested me to take a management interview. The interview was very short and had no challenges, just generalist questions about myself and I received more info on what the company was doing. The person conducting the interview told me that this was the final stage and that I would have a final call with the CEO to welcome me on board and start the integration process to the company. Two more weeks went on and nothing happened. HR would never answer my emails. The persons that I did the interviews with would completely ignore my messages. In the meantime, I had other offers from companies and I was not sure if me turning them down for working at a place that does not respect you a human being was worth it. The bottom line is that the company's interview process has a medium CS level of difficulty at best, but the process and the people are just not OK. I find it unacceptable treating other engineers so badly and lying to them about the timeline of the interview process. It just harms immensity the image of the company and creates a bad name for it. I have started working with another company since then and the difference in the interview process was just the whole world. Honest to God, I would not recommend to anyone applying to Arachnys unless you do not mind wasting a month+ from your life just waiting around and getting ignored.

Question 1
Flatten and sort and array of arrays with integers.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Arachnys (London, England) in June 2019
Interview
I was contacted by their internal recruiter re front end role so I got back to them explaining that I was not a front end developer and was looking for backend role. I was sent a link to google calendar to book a phone call initial interview with the recruiter. I booked the time slot which was later was cancelled by the recruiter. I tried to contact them via email to unnderstand the situation and if it is to be re-scheduled but did not get a reply and never heard from them since.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Arachnys in May 2019
Interview
Started with a phone interview which I was asked some standard technical questions, then was sent a HackerRank coding test, one for Python and one for Javascript (I was asked to choose one of them and complete it).
I completed the test successfully, and followed up with the recruiter. I never even heard back from them, even after sending multiple messages on LinkedIn to find out how I did. Where there was frequent communication before, I received no reply.
To anyone at Arachnys that may be reading this, if you ask a potential candidate to sit through a 30 minute phone call, followed by a 1.5 hour test, at least have the decency to let the candidate know of whether they were successful or not, rather than ghosting them for almost 3 weeks.
