I started talks over 30 days ago, depending on management's schedule, they got back to me when they could. Did a portal walkthrough, everything was straightforward. The reporting manager made a verbal offer after sifting through my "partial" client list. Shortly after, the reporting manager wanted me to speak with his boss, the hiring manager. The hiring manager was pleasant at first then went off key asking about the amount of accounts I had and production numbers. In this tough environment, management is deaf tone and still yearns for the good ol days of the refi boom which has sailed into the sunset. Only looking for fast talkers, not quality hires. Reporting manager got cold feet and requested my production numbers. Promptly provided the numbers and has been ghosted ever since. Arc pricing is good, but everything else sounds bureaucratic.
