I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ardent Technologies (Macon, GA) in Nov 2022
Interview
The whole process felt extremely informal and honestly quite confusing. I was communicating with two different people, an initial recruiter and the recruiter's boss? I was provided a job description for a Junior Level Position, was asked for my resume, if I could pass a drug test and background check and then an interview with a project manager was scheduled. When I asked what to expect from this initial interview, I was given little to no information and essentially went in blind, which felt weird compared to my experience with other recruiters. As for the interview itself, it was extremely uncomfortable, the individual wasn't technical and asked a couple of questions about my resume and gave me a description of the job and hiring process. A week later my initial recruiter contacted me asking me for an update, which I felt was odd, so I reached out to the individual that was brought in as his boss. Two days later I was informed that they were seeking an individual with more than two times the experience which was presented to me in the initial job description.
Quick and detailed. I was informed of what is expected and about the trainings and benefits. I didn’t get accepted but the interview process was lovely. However, email responses did take a while for the rejection.
