I applied online. I interviewed at Arena Capital (Dubai) in May 2024
Interview
There was no formal interview invite via mail, only a telephone call.
When I reached the venue at the allotted time, there were about 7-8 other candidates there, and all of us were taken in for a group discussion sort of a thing, rather than one-on-one interviews.
After this, almost all of us received invites for the next round, which was kind of like a written test. And then, they called us in for another round in which they made us work an entire day (no compensation). The work was for an existing client, so I feel like the interview conducted was more like a scam, rather than an actual employment opportunity.
I know that a few days after this, they posted the job again, and again after a couple more weeks. So, it seems like the company does 'mock' interviews just to get young and desperate candidates to work for them for free.
Will take this like a bad experience and never again do a full day's worth of work without being compensated for it.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
During the group discussion, we were all asked to ask each other questions and general topics of conversation, nothing hard. Guess they just wanted to check how well we could answer. I did not mind this round at all, it was fun. Just wish they had informed of it before and preferably sent a mail, as I had a nagging feeling that it was a scam when they didn't send me a formal interview invite over email.

Interview
Here's the revised version with that addition:
"The whole interview process was a complete disaster. First, I was contacted for one position, only to be interviewed for something completely different—which is frustrating but maybe not entirely unexpected. Then, they had us participate in a poorly organized group interview, where we were asked irrelevant questions that had little to do with the role. After that, they had us complete a so-called 'exam,' which was just ridiculous: correcting grammatical errors in a passage and, bizarrely, writing a poem! As if that weren’t enough, I was then called in for yet another interview, only to be informed that I'd need to complete a one-day trial afterward—all this just to make calls. The entire process was disjointed, unnecessary, and incredibly frustrating."

Question 1
can you please describe why you're a superstar ? and write a poem
The initial and final interview process was smooth. The interviewers were polite and provided all the information about the job during the interviews. Overall very good experience during the interview and with the company.
