From the outset of the interview, the Head of Service looked bored, kept on checking his watch and generally gave the impression that the interview was a gigantic waste of his time and effort. Well, it was A Big Deal for me having driven from one corner of Scotland to another to attend the interview, and prepped extensively for the same only to be confronted by someone who, gave every impression of just not wanting to be there. Incredibly rude and very demoralising.
