I applied online. I interviewed at Arine in Aug 2025
Interview
Run!
This was hands down the most arduous and time-consuming interview process I’ve ever experienced—only to be completely ghosted in the end.
Over the course of three weeks, I participated in five interviews with six different people. Each conversation felt like déjà vu: the same questions repeated, framed around highly specific scenarios that clearly reflected their internal systems and challenges. At times, I felt less like a candidate and more like a consultant offering free advice.
After every round, I was told how much the previous interviewer liked me and that I was advancing to the next stage. My final interview—a joint session with two team members—took place on 9/17. I was informed a decision would be made by 9/25 at the latest. As of today, 10/9, I’ve received no communication whatsoever, despite multiple follow-up emails to the recruiters involved.
I understand that candidates aren’t guaranteed a response. But when you ask someone to invest this much time and energy, the bare minimum is a courtesy reply. At this point, I genuinely question whether the role was ever intended to be filled—or if the entire process was simply a way to extract free consultation.
