Had a zoom interview that went over previous work experience, and asked what you could do to help strengthen support for students. ASU has students with a variety of backgrounds.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Explain a difficult situation you had with a student. How did you assist/work through that experience?
I applied online. I interviewed at Arizona State University
Interview
Applied through the ASU job website. Long process but gets easier after you do it once. It will save all your information. Hour long Zoom interview with 8 interviewers on the panel. Ten questions with each question having multiple questions with in the question. Seemed extreme for a $50,000 job. Had to reach out 2 weeks later since they have not followed up and instead of replying to my email they sent an automated email of denial.
Interview questions [3]
Question 1
Describe a time you were responsible for creating or updating educational materials. What tools and strategies did you use to ensure the content was engaging with your target audience?
I applied online. I interviewed at Arizona State University (Phoenix, AZ) in Apr 2026
Interview
It was via zoom with two people present, they had six questions to ask and jumped right in. They did follow up on some answers and gave great clarity on what the job entailed.
The interview felt very condescending and the questions were in a very stale panel format. I did not get an offer and when I asked for feedback I got no reply
