I applied through university. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Arizona State University in July 2020
Interview
Interview was held over Zoom, and they asked standard interview questions. It was only the hiring manager who was present during the Zoom call (very conversational, back-and-forth opportunities to learn more about the position).
Submitted application through ASU website. Received email within 1-2 weeks. Scheduled 30-ish minute zoom interview with department head and additional professor (not the same one that taught the course). Fairly standard and not stressful. Asked questions to gauge competence in the relevant field, and presumably looking for good communication skills.

Question 1
What experience do you have in this field? What is one way you think the class can be improved? How will you help students who come to you for a problem?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Arizona State University (Glendale, AZ) in July 2018
Interview
Was called for a phone interview. The interview took less than 20 minutes. There was no email confirming or scheduling a phone interview, it just popped up randomly on a weekday after weeks of applying to different ASU positions. This happened sometime in late July or early August, before the Fall semester at ASU began. The phone call was very relaxed and mostly had a behavioral focus.

Question 1
Mostly behavioral and questions on past experience working at ASU and whether or not I could help aid a specific class schedule during the semester.
