I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Arlington Independent School District (Arlington, TX) in July 2019
Interview
Applied online, went to both an AISD job fair and spoke to reps at the big North Texas teacher job fair. Process took over 4 months.
Interview with Principal and Assistant Principal held on campus. Neither of which seemed interested in being there, or cared about me as an applicant. Very negative vibe from both of them.
Was asked why I wanted to work in Arlington, and I said that I grew up in the Arlington School District, and once I made my choice to become a teacher that I wanted to come back and give back to the district and community I grew up in. I was then literally told that this wasn't a good enough reason to want to work in Arlington, and that in their opinion I may face challenged as I was "on the wrong side of 40". Blatant age discrimination!!!

I was called after submitting application to schedule an interview, had an interview and was hired. This process was fairly simple and not stressful. The time of the interview was just right.
I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Arlington Independent School District (Arlington, TX)
Interview
A specialist, a teacher, and an administrator were all present. I was asked to tell a little about myself and then they took turns asking me questions about my experience and taking notes as I answered the questions. I was able to ask questions of the panel when they had exhausted all of the questions they had for me.
