      Graduate Facade Engineer Interview

      11 Feb 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      London, England
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Arup (London, England) in Jan 2018

      Interview

Questions were exactly as stated on here for a Graduate role. Telephone interviewer seemed relaxed and I initially got an email saying I'd passed. I then received another saying they'd be dropping my application. No reason why, very disappointing. I have a ton of experience and won awards, genuinely thought I'd breezed it. Offers from other top-tier companies so not too annoyed but disappointed none-the-less.

      Graduate Facade Engineer Interview

      21 Feb 2017
      Anonymous employee
      London, England
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Arup (London, England) in Dec 2016

      Interview

after the deadline of the online application submission I recieved within a week a mail for telephone interview within 3 days. (interview screening - probably HR person- lasting around 30min). The same day I recieved an e-mail saying that I passed on the second stage where my application and interview is sent to the hiring managers who decide if I can attend the assessment center. (after 2.5 months I still don't have a response for the centre).

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

skills review my motivation for joining them (what I like about their values, why I want to join the graduate scheme...). Not much about the actual department I applied. few scenario based questions where you need to describe what would you do in cases such as : you don't like your current project, a senior asks for your help while you are doing something else... There are not given choices. Probably the interviewer has possible options that checks when you answer. In some he couldn't find similar answers to mine and he started giving me some hints.
