I applied through other source. I interviewed at Asana
Interview
Very frustrating and confusing interview process. The Hiring Manager reached out to me on LinkedIn and showed interest in my profile. The position was for GTM TPM and they wanted someone with sales experience.
Round 1 - I spoked with the hiring manager (hangout) and it was a brief call just getting to know me and sharing more about the role.
Round 2 - The recruiter reached out and wanted to schedule a virtual onsite. I gave her my availability and she reached out to me asking to work on a presentation that I would have to present as part of my interview.
4 days before the actual interview the recruiter said she wants me to chat with a stakeholder. She scheduled a 30-minute call with the stakeholder and the stakeholder was 20 minutes late (I emailed the recruiter to check in btw) and finally when she called it was like I am busy I have a team call tell me about yourself wait let me grab a sheet of paper. Very unprofessional!
I wanted to move fast so I took two days off from work to finish the presentation and a day before my actual virtual onsite I got a generic email saying "The team has changed their requirement for the role and would not be moving forward." Very unprofessional interview process. They are wasting precious time of candidates.
