Hiring manager was nice, but the "homework assignment" that was requested was insulting and arrogant. I was asked to plan the 2019-2020 product roadmap for the Rowkin brand. They wanted the assignment submitted before an in-person interview. The company claims that "Ashley Chloe is known worldwide for their innovative wireless headphone products." Really? How many people do you know who own an Ashley Chloe product? Let's keep it real and come down off the high horse. Don't disrespect prospective candidates by asking them to do ridiculous broad assignments for free, especially when you are a small, unknown company with me-too products.
