Had a brief conversation for around thirty min. with people from the team. Was asked to give a self introduction and discuss my interest in this role. The questions were normal. They were nice people to talk with. But maybe just my personal feeling. They responded in a way as if they didn’t really believe in your statement about your interest (which I can understand though), saying something like “we are just curious because people usually don’t have this kind of passion” or “do you really enjoy it?” I know I was not in my best condition that day and can totally understand their decision. But still find these questions a bit weird and confusing as I never encountered responses like this before at other places.
