Asia-Pacific Institute of Management interview questions

I was called for an interview to present a demo lecture in front of the panel but was told that if I dont have a phd , I can only join as an academic councilor (which is a calling job), this was really unprofessional as I have already mentioned it in my application that I am not a phd then also they called me up for the interview.
