I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Associated Students (Cal Poly) (Pomona, CA) in Aug 2023
Interview
Interview consisted of a panel asking questions regarding experience with maintenance and repair, problem solving skills, and interpersonal communication. Think of questions like: Have you ever used power tools? If your superior told you to do something you don't agree with what would you do? What does integrity mean to you? Describe a time where you built/repaired something how did you approach it?
Overall, the interview consisted of the panel taking turns asking questions and evaluating responses for about 30 minutes.

Question 1
Describe a time where you built/repaired something how did you approach it?
The interview process felt smooth and relaxed. They mainly asked behavioral questions about teamwork and problem-solving instead of technical ones. Everyone I spoke with was very understanding and flexible, which made the experience comfortable.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Associated Students (Cal Poly) (San Luis Obispo, CA) in June 2025
Interview
It was very straightforward and involved many case studies. It also included one DEI question. Overall, a very smooth process and not very technical of an interview I would say.
