I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Astound Digital (Ahmedabad) in July 2024
Interview
Aptitude Round:
The interview process began with an aptitude test that was designed to assess problem-solving abilities, logical reasoning, and quantitative skills. The questions were well-structured, relevant to the role, and provided a good initial challenge. This round set a solid foundation for the rest of the interview process, leaving a positive impression.
HR Round:
Following the aptitude test, the HR round was conducted. This was, by far, the best experience of the entire process. The HR representative was extremely friendly, approachable, and made the conversation comfortable. They provided a clear overview of the company, the role, and what to expect in the upcoming stages. The HR round felt more like a dialogue than an interrogation, which was refreshing and put me at ease.
Technical Round:
The technical round, unfortunately, was the low point of the entire process. Conducted by a team of two individuals, this round was characterized by a lack of professionalism and a dismissive attitude. The interviewers came across as arrogant, creating an unwelcoming environment that made it difficult to showcase my skills. Their approach lacked constructive feedback and felt more like an interrogation, which was in stark contrast to the positive experience of the HR round.
Final Round:
The final round aimed to provide a comprehensive overview of the role and assess overall fit. This stage was more balanced, but the negative experience from the technical round lingered. The final round did, however, offer a chance to discuss potential contributions to the company and clarify any remaining questions about the role and responsibilities.
