I applied on Indeed (the company currently has no ATS). Their hiring manager scheduled an interview with me onsite (socially distanced with masks).
I was asked to fill out a paper application. Was then led to a conference room. 1 on 1 interview with the hiring manager. Nothing too difficult, was fairly transparent about the role, asked about my past experience, etc. Lasted about 1 hour, and I was told by the hiring manager that she'd let me know if I'd be selected or not by the end of the following week.
I sent a thank you letter to her and followed up in one week's time when I didn't hear from her. It has been 21 days and there has been no communication on whether I have been rejected or not. Obviously, I have, but the company needs to be way better in communicating with candidates.
