A recruiter reached out to me. We had a video call, after which I was given a take-home assignment. The next step was a quite pleasant conversation about my background with other developers. In the end, the recruiter who had initially encouraged me to apply ghosted me — I never heard back from them with either a response or feedback. Waste of time.
