I was initially messaged via Linkedin (with a message sent thrice with the same verbiage). The message was vague: "I'm working on a newly created role for a Sales Manager in Luxury Brands...". I replied the following day (as I did some research on stores opening or expected to open in the location provided in the original message). The location provided was still under construction and is expected to open later this year. However, the location has yet to be recognized on their own website and videos were only present on their Instagram account. I entertained a change of my current employment and a date was set for the interview. It ended up being a video interview with the recruiter TS. The interview itself was nothing new, with general questioning of my current position and duties performed on the job. I was then offered the General Managers position, but declined and was then offered an Assistant GM position. I questioned why the initial position was not offered in the interview, which followed another vague response. The salary offered was $10K based on my current employer's salary (hourly, hours in the week, based on 52). TS then said the next interview would follow with the CEO on Sunday (Sundays of all days). I acknowledged. Sunday comes around and nada. I emailed and messaged TS, but TS seems to have ghosted me. Up until now, there has been no follow-up. Rather a confusing experience in the end, but it also became a huge save and win for me.
