Auction.com Area/State Manager interview questions

Phone screen was with a very pleasant recruiter, followed by a request for a formal application to be submitted, followed by in-person interview from Regional Manager who traveled to meet in my city. Interview took place in a lobby of the hotel. Ended with recruiter calling me to tell me that they had an internal applicant at the last minute and I was not offered the position. Both of the people I dealt with were professional and pleasant.
