Interview
5 stages. Online application, video interview, personality test, phone interview & in person interview. Quite long winded, nerve wracking but that’s normal when you really do want a job with a specific company. Taught me a lot and a worthwhile process.
The interview process was very straightforward and positive. All details are laid out in the job description, so there are no surprises. It began with recording responses to a Q&A, then a screener and follow-up interview with management. I enjoyed the process, as there were no gimmicks or time-wasting. My talent acquisition specialist was friendly, transparent, and extremely helpful with all my questions. I am pleased with my interview experience and would rank them first in comparison to my experience interviewing with their primary competitors.

Question 1
If applying for sales positions, expect questions about handling objections and building booking urgency.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Audley Travel (London, England) in July 2024
Interview
Initial communication was with automated systems. Never encountered a person.
First “interview” consisted only of recording answers to a camera.
Details of second interview sent via email. A follow up phone call came between first and second interviews. Caller read aloud the job description (which I had already read after applying initially) and repeated the details of the second interview.
No issues with the 2nd interview, standard questions about sales and knowledge of the country I chose to specialise in.
Job rejection came with AI generated feedback directly contradicting what was discussed in the second interview. Included false information about the company. Clearly hadn’t been checked before it was sent out.
An incredibly impersonal, disorganised process! Would never book a holiday with them.

Question 1
If a customer says that they’ve found a cheaper quote elsewhere, how will you ensure that they book with Audley?

Interview
Straightforward with a high emphasis on sales experience. Must have a passion for travel and willingness to learn and collaborate. There are a few phases of interviews, it takes about 3 to get to the offer stage.
