First interview was great. Was a standard interview, what you’d expect. Second was ATROCIOUS. They had me go out with one of their sales reps and experience it first hand. Sales rep was 15 minutes late, no one contacted me. As soon as we got into the office, he started playing Eminem and other similar artists, which isn’t very professional for the workplace. The car they took me to the location in reeked of alcohol, and it wasn’t until we got to the location that the actual job was revealed. It’s door to door charity collection. They expected me to walk around in 30° Queensland heat at 11:30-12pm with absolutely no sun protection, no water, nothing. They expected me to do this for around 2-3 hours, with no mention of any break. I wasn’t informed that this would be the case, so I had arrived that morning in professional office clothing, long pants, flats, cap sleeve top etc. Had I had known I was expected to be walking around in the heat at midday, I would have dressed more appropriately, or not come at all.
