I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Auto/Mate Dealership Systems (Albany, NY)
Interview
I applied for this position through Glassdoor and was sent a java assessment to be completed. Next, I was asked to complete a personality test and conduct an interview with two Senior Developers. Finally, I had an in person interview with the same developers. Questions ranged from previous experience and specific details about previous projects, java questions, basic data structures and algorithms, testing network issues, and system design.
Overall, everyone was extremely friendly and professional. Every interview was to the point and a positive experience. One of the best interview processes I've been a part of to date. The questions asked were somewhat difficult and in depth, but overall meaningful. All questions asked will have some relevance to real world software development.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Auto/Mate Dealership Systems (Albany, NY) in Dec 2018
Interview
From the very 1st phone call from Amy Rosenberg, to the final interview stage it was nothing but a pleasant experience. Amy kept me informed about appointments and requirements. It was a very smooth and actually enjoyable process. Amy put me at ease and everyone at Auto/Mate was very friendly and professional. It takes a little time to get through the process but they make it stress free.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Auto/Mate Dealership Systems (Albany, NY) in July 2018
Interview
The process started with a HR phone interview. Then I moved on to a hour long phone interview. Lots of questions about how I would handle situations, etc. Week later I had a rather long in person interview. More questions about how I would handle things, nothing technical. I thought the interview went ok, i was undecided if I wanted to join them. They told me they would be contacting me either way in a week of so. Never heard from them again. Not upset about no offer, but I would have like some sort of follow up.
