I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at AutoGravity (Irvine, CA) in June 2019
Interview
Horrific! Runaway and look at the previous reviews! The initial process of getting a phone interview was quite easy and you'll talk to the director of talent acquisition who is a pleasure to speak with. Very professional, kind and nice. She asked lots of good questions pertaining to your background, informative and easy to speak with. Once you bypass the initial phone interview process, you move on to the in-person experience which is horrific. I never met someone who was not passionate about what they do, looked bored and asked such basic questions about Digital Marketing. Maybe he was in a rush to go home or he had a meeting. I would first think as someone up in the food chain to be passionate and talk about the company they work for proudly. I felt like I was talking to a kid who had no interest in sports and he was forced to play. I then see he is always on his watch and says you have exactly 8 min left in the interview. HAHAHA. Your time is important but mine is just as important. Learn some courtesy, have some respect and learn how to talk in a polite and courteous manner. I would hate working under someone who has no respect, no sense of communication and lack of passion for the company they represent. Good luck working here! I can see why lots of previous employees left such bad reviews. If you decide to work here, good luck because you're probably going to do all the work and get no credit for it. CEO and stakeholders should find more passionate people who can represent the company proudly. Good luck!
Interview questions [9]
Question 1
Talk about your ASO(App Store Optimization) experience?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at AutoGravity (Irvine, CA) in May 2018
Interview
the interview was short but with a lot of people. Start up culture requires an employee to be the expert in their position in order to excel the company into the green. Thus the interview felt very forward and to the point.

Question 1
how do you plan on keeping yourself up to date with the economic climate?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AutoGravity
Interview
I applied for a job at AutoGravity through an employee referral and was brought onsite to interview with a panel of 4 people. The process seem well-organized, but none of the interviewers seem to be prepare for the interview (i.e. reading my resume as they come in the room, asking repeating questions). I must have answered 4 times "why do you want to work for us". I was asked lots of situational questions (i.e. what would you do if..., how would you handle xx situation, etc) and I thought I had answered them quite well.
A week later I received a call notifying that I didn't get the job, and the feedback I got was they needed someone with more experience. I wish the team were a bit more considerate and respectful of candidates' time, as it was quite clear on my resume how many years of experience I had. I checked LinkedIn a few weeks later for that job and saw they had hired someone with 8 months more experience in the job.
Generally it was a pleasant experience and everyone seemed to be passionate about the company's mission.

Thank you for your feedback. We are a growing company and we are always improving our processes. We implemented "pre-briefs" to help the interview team understand the role that they are interviewing for and so that the team is well prepared for the interview. I'm sorry this did not happen for your interview and we hope that you consider AutoGravity for a future opportunity especially since you are a referral. We love our referrals.
