I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Automation Anywhere (San Jose, CA) in Oct 2016
Interview
- Referral through an employee.
- Had phone screen and then was invited for onsite.
- Interview went well and I was accepting an offer, but something happened which prohibited them from making an offer as I was contacted for my salary expectation and then they decided not to proceed.
- Very strange..
- They don't want to pay as they have a big dev center in India and they probably thought they can hire people there more cheaply than here. This may be good for short term but not a sound long term strategy. If they want Senior people they should be willing to pay and not expect them to join for cheap.
- This is the only thing I can think of and if I am right then I am glad I didn't join such short sighted company. Wuh.. Got saved..

Question 1
What do you need to deploy an Enterprise Software?
Hello Candidate, so sorry you had a negative experience. You say above that you accepted an offer from us, but then something prevented us from making you an offer? That is not how we operate and that is not the candidate experience we aim to have. Can you share more about your experience on this with me? Please feel free to reach out to karin.turchin@automationanywhere.com.
