I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Avantis (Peoria, IL)
Interview
quick 30 minute interview asking about experience in the industry, current job, schooling, and why I wanted to work at Avantis. The interviewer was very pleasant and easy to talk to.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Experience, expected hours, why I wanted to work at Avantis.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Avantis (Normal, IL) in July 2022
Interview
I applied online on their website and did a phone interview. I then was offered a second interview in person. I was just asked basic questions over the phone and in person. I felt like I was mislead because I applied for carry out clerk and not kitchen. They did explain due to finding it hard to get staff they cross train employees. I, however, do not want to be exclusively in kitchen as they seemed to offer me at the end of the interview. For that reason I am likely going to decline the job offer.
I also am supposed to get a call from the kitchen manager for background check and then offered the job. The only reason I am not doing a thumbs down is because the interviewers were kind and also appeared to be nice.
I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Avantis
Interview
Was called a week after application, sat down in restaurant with a manager, quick 20 minute interview going over application, pretty much knew would be hired and got the call to work in four days.
