I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Aviva (Eastleigh, England) in June 2012
Interview
A Standard competency based list questions to answer as well as a run through of my cv and experience. It was a very informal and friendly process in the first interview. For The second interview I was required to do preparation and present a case study and also answer questions on the case study.
You will get invited to talk to the manager for the interview, quite straight forward, talked about my skills and they talked about the role and company. Interviewer seems genuine and answered my question honestly
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Aviva (Dublin, Dublin) in Feb 2016
Interview
It was a phone screen then onsite meeting with HR and direct line Manager from the marketing team. The interview was fine, but I found the companies processes very outdated, also the HR manager was there 10 years which shows a bit of a lack of change and gives the impression that they are stuck in their ways, let's just say a non progressive company. The job in the end was not as I had anticipated and was more a focus on below the line marketing as opposed to including all marketing i.e. digital campaigns etc. One big alarm bell was that they don't have a CRM system for marketing purposes, how does that work in this day and age. I presume just excel raw data but that was a bit of a turn off. The final stage of the interview was a presentation of analytical data, I didn't make it this far and withdrew from the process. I wish recruiters would explain the job role properly.
