I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Aviva (Markham, ON) in Feb 2018
Interview
There is only one round face-to-face interview. I was interviewed with a senior actuary and a manager in the personal line department. The overall experience is great. The interviewers are super nice. One easy technical question about Vlookup and one technical question about SAS. Even if you never used SAS before, but you can still read the code.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Aviva (West Des Moines, IA) in Mar 2019
Interview
Met with lots of people, over a 1 month period -- every one was very friendly and welcoming and offered good insights into the company, The questions seemed to be pre-planned and many questions did not apply specifically to the job for which I was applying
Fairly straightforward application process. I had to submit my CV online and then complete a form explaining how I match the company values. After this, I had a telephone interview which was a standard competency based interview. The interviewers were friendly and made me feel comfortable.
