I interviewed for a copywriter position, and honestly, it was a frustrating experience. As a professional with over eight years of experience, I found the interviewers asking basic questions. When I answered confidently, they responded with disbelief and made silly comments about my interview experience, implying I must have been on many interviews.
It felt like they thought my qualifications were too strong for their team. Ultimately, I was rejected, which is baffling given my expertise and the positive feedback I received. This reflects poorly on their hiring practices, and the CEO should really reconsider who conducts interviews, as this treatment of skilled candidates is unacceptable.
