I applied online. I interviewed at Axon in Feb 2026
Interview
Honestly, I was really excited about this role and company. I applied online and had a phone screen with the internal recruiter. The recruiter was great and we had a very good conversation. I've been in sales for 10 years now and have done well, so when she wanted to move the process quickly I was even more excited. I don't like wasting anyone's time.
It all went downhill with the hiring manager on Zoom. A young guy that seemed disinterested and unengaged from the start. He was clicking around on another screen the entire time while he asked all your basic standard interview questions in a rapid fire way. Not conversational AT ALL.
The best part was at the end when I started asking more about the process and next steps. He told me that "this is a more senior role" and that I wasn't a good fit. I almost laughed. Especially because he had told me during the interview that he understood that his success was because of timing and not because he's some amazing sales rep.

Interview
Very stringent on following the application process. Even being in sales they hesitate to have you reach out to members of the team to get their experience with the company
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Axon
Interview
Interview process was pretty extensive. Met with no less than 6 different interviewers. Each was a leader in different departments within the organization, with the final interview being with the CEO. Everyone was courteous, knowledgeable, and insightful.
