I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Azul Systems in May 2026
Interview
The recruiter at Azul emailed me and said one of their employees was singing my praises and that he really liked my background, so we setup up an interview. He emailed me less than an hour before the interview and said he needed to reschedule, so I replied that my availability was open and to send over a new invite.
Shortly after, I received an automated rejection email. I emailed the talent director so clarify and express my interest in having the chat we had discussed. No response.
Very odd, shady and quite frankly unacceptable behavior from a recruiter. 😔
The interview process was straightforward and well-structured, consisting of three rounds. Each stage was conducted efficiently, with clear communication and minimal delays between steps, making the overall experience smooth and organized.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
One question they asked was about my previous experience and how it relates to the role, particularly focusing on how I’ve handled similar responsibilities or challenges in the past.
It starts with a call from the recruiter, then a written assessment that is mostly behavioral. They gave sufficient time for the written assessment around 20 mins for 2 questions. I am still waiting for a reply, but overall I found it easy.
