      Coordinator Interview

      21 Feb 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Philadelphia, PA
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at B Lab (Philadelphia, PA) in Jan 2017

      Interview

I applied with a resume and cover letter through my school at a recruiting event in which a representative was visiting campus. I tailored my cover letter for the job as best I could--though I do not think I had the right experience to get the job. It turned out the representative was recruiting for any open position and the talent network. It was a really fun and pleasant conversation--the 45 minutes flew by--though we determined there were no open jobs for me at the moment. I submitted my resume to the talent network anyway and will keep them in my sights. Note: the representative told me that they care a lot that the people they hire are committed to the mission of the organization and will (and have) rejected the most otherwise-qualified candidate because there wasn't evidence that the candidate was actually deeply committed to the values of B Lab.
