I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at BBC (Southampton, England)
Interview
There was a task at the beginning of the interview which involved writing an article for online. Then there was a board with the senior editor of the region, news editor and online editor. That involved talking about the task and why I had written what I had written, questions about my experience and what I could bring to the role.
Formulário com perguntas pertinentes sobre a vaga, apresentação de CV, carta de apresentação. Não cheguei à entrevista presencial. Demora enorme para dar um retorno, em alguns casos sequer deram, pelo que soube.
about three interviewers and just me on zoom. They asked me about any interesting piece on BBC that I read. One interviewer was horribly indifferent and annoyed for her time being used like this. It was quite some time ago, but I remember she said "you don't get to ask questions. We are the ones asking questions." I asked what their question meant, just to clarify. I did not get the offer, and even if I did, I wouldn't have accepted. Bad experience.
