Received a call and thought it was going to be the recruiter from this company but was the hiring manager. So kinda through me off because then it was more of a phone interview wasn't really prepared for it but still knocked it out and was asked to proceed with the hiring process. The manager ask me if one day is good because the next day there going to make a selection, thought that sounded good. The only interview I got was a conference call interview (i called from home into the conference number) thought this was weird since i was applying within the state and wasn't far from the location. So I was given great feedback during the "interview" how great I did, and would hear back by the end of the next business day. Well here comes Friday and still haven't heard anything this is 2 days after my first conference interview. I send the hiring manager an email asking for a following up on a decision was made yet since i was really interested and thanking them for their time. Was told there still interviewing other candidates. Well long story short...... I never got a call so I looked online on the portal and was showed as interviewed/not selected. I never got a denial letter or a call back would think that would have been nice since i was waiting on some kind of offer or denial.
